Hi Oleic peanuts are full of healthy, monounsaturated fats (like those in olive oil or avocados), they're also high in fibre and super high in protein. They taste great – just like old-fashioned peanuts, but the real kicker is that they are Really Good for you!
Argentina
Australia has recently faced heavier hardships and has started processing Argentine peanuts for us at their factory in Queensland to fill in their short supply.
This means that for a short while we will be receiving bags of both Australian and Argentine peanuts.
The Argentine nuts are the same variety and flavour profile as their Australian counterparts which are grown in similar climates, with similar methods - and the same stringent quality control as PCA - some of these peanuts will come via PCA and others direct from Argentina.
I haven’t written a story about the Argentine growers as this relationship is a temporary one.
