Peanut & Chocolate Baked Doughnuts

  • Brioche buns
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 50 g melted butter
  • 2 large bananas
  • 250 ml cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 Tbsp icing sugar
  • 2/3 C Pic's Peanut & Chocolate Butter

1. For the cinnamon butter, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon and melted butter in a small bowl. Rub over the hot buns as soon as they come out of the oven. Leave to cool slightly.

2. Slice 2 large bananas in to strips and sprinkle with 2 Tbsp of sugar. Fry them in a little butter over high heat for a couple minutes on each side. Cool.

3. Then time to make the cream! Whip cream, vanilla and icing sugar together until soft peaks form.

4. Putting it all together! Cut each bun down the middle and spread the insides and tops of each one with Pic's Peanut & Chocolate Butter. Add some caramelised banana in to each one and pipe or spoon in the cream. Drizzle with chocolate and sprinkle with chopped nuts!
