Guten Morgen Peanut Butterer

Big Mix Hummus

Prep Time: 5 minutes


  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1⁄4 cup fresh lemon juice, 1 large lemon
  • 1⁄2 cup Pics Big Mix
  • 2 small garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for serving 1⁄2 cup of cold water
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • 1⁄4 cup Toasted mixed seeds for topping


1. In the bowl of a food processor, combine everything but the cold water.

2. While the food processor is going slowly pour in the cold water. You are looking for a smooth consistency and may need more water if it’s looking too thick!

3. Taste for seasoning (add extra salt etc to taste)

4. Once finished serve hummus with a drizzle of olive oil and top with toasted seeds. Voila!
