A tour of Pics Peanut Butter Factory will be a highlight of your visit to Nelson.

Join a small group of peanut butter enthusiasts from all around the world to hear the Pic's story, learn all about our peanuts and watch as nuts tumble out of the roaster and feed into the grinder. Marvel as peanut butter pours from the grinder and gets squirted into jars!

Rattling conveyors carry the jars through lidders and labeller's for cartoning and stacking on pallets for forklifts to load onto trucks.

After the tour, the kids get to have a go at making their own peanut butter too while the adults have a taste of Pic’s almond and cashew butters and poke through our international collection of peanut butters, mementoes and the world's widest range of Pic's Products.

Further information and how to find us

Tours are 40mins and include a chance for you to make your own peanut butter. Every Monday to Friday we run a 10am tour. More in the holidays and there will be even more when the Pic's World of Peanut Butter opens in February 2019.

Suitable for adults and children but not those with peanut allergies (sorry, just keeping you safe).

We do operate a working factory, so kids of all ages need to be watchful for trucks, forklifts and many moving PB jars. You will be well looked after by our tour guides Barney and Kath Bee. Bookings are essential so hit the BOOK A FREE TOUR button on this very page.

Location: 18 Elms St, Wakatu Estate, Main Road Stoke, Nelson (not the first Pic’s building you come to on Elms St but the second, next to Pomeroy’s Café). View the Factory Tours location on Google Maps.
